Fortify Resilience using Mindfulness & Yoga Capsules

flower

The Christopher & Dana Reeve Foundation National Paralysis Resource Center (NPRC) is pleased to announce a virtual 3-part series that equips health professionals who serve persons with paralysis with sets of 1-5 minute mindfulness and yoga techniques (capsules) to foster resilience in the body, breath, and mind. This is especially critical during times of continuous change, challenge, and uncertainty.

Learn 33 mindfulness and seated yoga capsules to fortify resilience. A yoga capsule is a short and targeted segment of yoga practice that is powerful and easy to administer, just like a medicine. They are perfect for busy health professionals to integrate for quick care of self and others. The protocols used in this course are evidence-based for reduction of anxiety, depression, insomnia and PTSD symptoms during the initial phase of the COVID-19 pandemic, as well as numerous additional researched benefits. They are also documented to reduce problematic polypharmacy by eliminating or reducing the need for a range of prescription medications.
