Celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month, the annual observance from September 15 to October 15, recognizing the contributions and influence of Hispanic and Latin American people to the history, culture, and achievements of the United States.

Our Spanish-speaking [Information Specialist](https://www.christopherreeve.org/todays-care/get-support/connect-with-an-information-specialist/) shares “I’m celebrating by voicing the issues I’ve witnessed while helping the Hispanic community. I want you to know that Hispanic parents work as unpaid caregivers and that many Hispanics living with paralysis are being taken advantage of. We must continue working together because *juntos somos más y podemos alcanzar lo imposible*.”

The Christopher & Dana Reeve Foundation aims to bridge the gap experienced by many Latino/as living with paralysis and their caregivers, while also contributing to the progress made by Hispanic and Latin American individuals.
