A message from Mike Nichols:

When I rolled on the ice at Prudential Center last year, I could feel the energy buzzing around the arena. It reminded me that hockey fans are the most generous and passionate people. Whether I get back on the ice or not, I will always be a hockey player at heart, and it is my mission to get everyone living with paralysis out of their wheelchairs and to a better quality of life.

Just like the players that I watched when I was younger on the ice to support me and the Reeve Foundation, your support has been such an important part of my journey. You are the reason we moved this all-star game to a bigger venue. We wanted to bring in more supporters who love hockey and believe that someday soon, I will get back on the ice and re-join my teammates.

I hope you will join me again this year at the Fourth Annual Mikey Strong Charity Hockey Game at Prudential Center on Friday, March 2 and continue to be part of that journey.

Players this year include Devils Stanley Cup Champion Bruce Driver and Rangers Stanley Cup Champion Alexi Kovalev, former Rangers defenseman Tom Laidlaw, former Islanders goalie Rick DiPietro, and LA Kings alumni Kevin Westgarth.

Don’t forget, with the purchase of your ticket, you will receive a voucher redeemable for two tickets to a 2018-2019 New Jersey Devils game, and the first 5,000 attendees to arrive on game night will receive one voucher redeemable for two tickets to a New York Yankees 2018 regular season game.

If you are unable to attend, please consider making a donation to the Reeve Foundation. From the moment I was injured, the Foundation was by my side and has been instrumental in my recovery. Every dollar raised moves us closer to my ultimate dream -- cures for spinal cord injury.

Hope to see you at the Prudential Center on March 2.

Game on!
