In honor of Indigenous People’s Day, we would like to share some of the resources and honor the indigenous tribes of the past and those that prosper today.
Our Native American Disability and Health Resources page are where you can find more information on our resources and access other information from other organizations. The Reeve Foundation also seeks to provide tribal communities with the practical support they need to build out their nation’s paralysis support programs with funding from our Quality of Life Grants Program. Through this grant program, we have funded opportunities for the Chickasaw Nation and the Tribal Adaptive Organization, just to name a few.
Our Peer & Family Support Program has Native American and Alaskan Native individuals to offer their guidance to other individuals with similar levels of mobility impairments and life experiences. You can also reach our team of Information Specialists at this number, 1-800-539-7309 or on our website to ask us anything related to paralysis.
